BCG was appointed following the engagement of Apollo as the design-and-construct contractor. Through the value-management process, we developed alternative foundation solutions, reduced the number and extent of structural transfers and simplified the formwork strategy to improve buildability and construction efficiency without compromising the design intent. The development will deliver 20 new two-bedroom social-housing apartments, comprising 16 Gold-level and four Silver-level dwellings. Working with Apollo and 8i Architects, BCG is proud to help deliver accessible, practical homes that strengthen the supply of social housing for the Townsville community.
